Hotels

SFCMC’s hotels are synonymous with excellence and attest to the leadership of the Barrière Group in the world of luxury hotels.

Luxury & Modernity

Both located in Cannes, the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic and the Hôtel Barrière Le Gray d’Albion meet the expectations of a local, national and international clientele with top-of-the-range and authentic service. These two SFCMC hotels are synonymous with the excellence of Barrière, a leader in luxury hotels.

Symbols of the elegance for which Cannes is so well known, the Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic and the Hôtel Barrière Le Gray d’Albion light up the Croisette. Giving them a new look while retaining the characteristic French spirit of their location, Natalie Ryan and Chantal Peyrat, two well-known interior architects, have enhanced both properties with finesse and modernity.

Hôtel Barrière Le Majestic Cannes

With an Art Deco ambiance, this temple to glamour and, every May, a must-see meeting place for the stars of the silver screen, Le Majestic, one of the Leading Hotels of the World, stands out on the legendary Croisette as a benchmark in luxury and the French art of living.

The 5-star establishment is home to 257 rooms and 92 suites, including the Christian Dior Suite (450 m²), the Penthouse Majestic (650 m² on the top floor with private terrace and pool), and a new, exceptional suite, the Suite Mélodie (200 m2 with a huge glass dome that offers remarkable views of the Mediterranean).  When it comes to the accommodation, a staff of more than 120 (chambermaids, housekeepers, linen staff, team members, etc.) make your comfort and well-being their primary concern.

The Majestic Cannes boasts four bars and three restaurants, including Le Fouquet’s Cannes, a variation on the famous Paris brasserie with a menu designed in partnership with the three-Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire, La Petite Maison de Nicole, offering Mediterranean delicacies, and La Plage – Majestic Barrière, down on the sand. A total staff of close to 140 are employed in the bars and restaurants to meet guests’ every gourmet need.

The Spa Diane Barrière with Biologique Recherche, on the Majestic’s first floor, offers bespoke treatments and beauty tips in a luxury 450 m2 space. A hammam, sauna, “experience shower” and gym with trainer complete guests’ relaxation and well-being options.

A stunning 35-seat cinema room, available for hire and fitted with all the latest technological equipment, offers the ideal conditions for screenings.

Finally, the Majestic’s Salle Plénière Martha offers a 350 m² space overlooking the sea for private events.

Hôtel Barrière Le Gray d’Albion

With an ultra contemporary design and plush ambiance, the Gray d’Albion, ideally located between the Croisette and rue d’Antibes, right in the heart of Cannes, offers exemplary comfort and service. The establishment’s 200 Rooms and Suites feature sleek and transparent furnishings, while a staff of 43 guarantee your comfort and well-being throughout your stay.

The Gray d’Albion boasts one bar and two restaurants: The new Terrasse du Gray, a contemporary take on a French brasserie, opening spring 2017, La Plage Barrière Le Gray d’Albion, with a water sports base on the legendary pontoon, where you can eat as you look out over the sparkling Mediterranean, and Jane’s Bar, the trendiest after work venue in Cannes. A total staff of 40 are on hand to look after you.

On the first floor, the Gray d’Albion offers eight meeting rooms and 15 breakout rooms, all soundproofed and air-conditioned, to hold from 10 to 240 people. They make the ideal venue for incentive schemes, PR events and seminars.

Made-to-measure activities

SFCMC’s spaces dedicated to sport and well-being offer a unique experience for those in search of physical activity or relaxation. High-performance machines are available for fitness enthusiasts in the Gray d’Albion and Majestic’s Gyms.  At the Gray d’Albion, tennis aficionados can play on the clay, grass or synthetic resin courts at the Tennis Club de Cannes, while water sports enthusiasts can enjoy water skiing and wakeboarding or take a boat trip at the Water Sports Centre.

Hôtel Barrière Le Carl Gustaf Saint-Barth

Saint-Barthélémy, or St Barts for those in the know, is the pearl of the French Caribbean. Since David Rockefeller acquired a property there in the 1950s, this Caribbean Eden has become a popular tourist destination among luxury travellers. The island will soon boast a new 5-star haven of peace and glamour: the Hôtel Barrière Le Carl Gustaf St Barth. (Opening last quarter 2019.)

Nestling in the middle of an immense tropical garden that is as peaceful as it is lush, the Carl Gustaf’s colonial façades will conceal two Junior Suites and 13 Cottages, all with private pools. The hotel also boasts two other stunning accommodation options: a loft with the property’s most beautiful sea views and a private villa with six bedrooms and a pool.

The Spa Diane Barrière, with its partner Biologique Recherche, will make your stay in paradise even more relaxing. Direct access to the private Shell Beach, jewel of the St Barts coast, provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the tropical sunshine and Caribbean sea.

Finally, two restaurants: one by the water, the Shellona, with a menu of dishes to be shared with family and friends, as well as a DJ to help create a relaxing atmosphere; the other Le Fouquet’s, an island version of the famous Paris brasserie, will make your unique stay complete.
